Wow, so glad that you and your family are okay. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said, that people never think that THEIR house will be the one to catch fire. Really good to know that how well all those around you came together to support you when you needed it. Good Kharma - after everything that Zavee is doing for non-profits, only fitting that volunteers took such good care of your home!

Or as the joke goes...
Q. What do you get when you mix facebook and twitter?
A. Facebook
While Twitter certainly has its positives, especially for people who like to provide links to valuable information, Facebook has really become a 'home' for a large number of people. Where previous advertising required businesses to bet on what sites their customers may visit and then post banner ads on those pages, facebook has created an amazing way for businesses to target their desired demographic without intruding on privacy nor playing a guessing game...in turn allowing customers to select who they really want to get advertisements from...and giving businesses the greatest opportunity to reach their actual and potential customers.

Ron, I left a reply on my blog as well but essentially I agree with your points. I did view the article more negatively than you did even though it had good information in it because it thematically linked potential fraud at Yelp! to legitimate PR practice. I almost want to page Claude Rains to explain how he is shocked! shocked! that PR firms work in social media. Anyway, best of luck to your company and if you need a media guy to help with anything, I'm available.

I could not agree more that customer service is still what sets a great business apart from the mediocre ones. People have come to expect great service, but are frequently disappointed.

I became a Zavee merchant because Zavee provides one more way to give added value to my patients and customers. One more way for me to provide information, communication and great customer service.

Everyone loves getting Cash Back.

Great closing point - "The most distinctive and creative way to tell your story doesn’t have to be the most expensive." I think Google proved that they got this point without a doubt with their commercial this year (it was one of my favorites as well). Thanks for the Radian6 shout-out!

Inbound marketing is a wonderful addition to the world of advertising. A driving point for traditional marketing that has a purpose and a way to communicate with customers or potential customers in real time. The strategy is different than traditional marketing as it is more engaging and the commitment to stay involved and be around is much higher than with just running an ad and waiting for the customers to come to you.

Nicely done.
